10 PJ Neighbourhood Cafés We Keep Going Back To

You know that café you always end up at? The one you suggest when your group chat's trying to figure out brunch plans? Or the one your parents actually enjoy, that you bring them to every Sunday morning, so you don't have to stress about where to bring them?

PJ's full of those spots.

Here are the neighbourhood cafés people keep coming back to – the regulars we all love, the comfort spots, and the ones worth the parking drama.

Strangers 47

Strangers at 47

You know you're at the right kind of neighbourhood café when people show up in their pyjamas and nobody bats an eye. Strangers at 47 has that energy – friends catching up over breakfast, families with kids on weekends, the occasional sports team fresh off the field.

The service is warm, the food's comforting, and it's got that rare thing where you feel welcome whether you're grabbing a quick cup of coffee or settling in for two hours.

Fluffed Café & Dessert Bar

Okay, we admit it – parking here is terrible. But have you tried their signature waffles? Trust us, they’re worth every stressed circle around the block. They're huge, fluffy, and the smell of them, fresh from the waffle iron, will most likely haunt your dreams at 3AM. Plus, the plating just screams “do it for the ‘gram”.

Great for dates, family outings, or just treating yourself.

Antipodean

Antipodean

This reliable spot in Atria Shopping Gallery is a family favourite for good reason. Comfort food that works, cakes that are actually good, and those little ice bear lattes that make every visit feel a bit special. It's the kind of place where everyone at the table – kids, parents, that one picky cousin – can find something they'll enjoy.

Parking's easier here than most PJ cafés – no need to pusing-pusing until you get hangry. And we call that a win.

Cafe 123 Gasing

This is the kind of neighbourhood café you “accidentally” find… then somehow end up back at again and again. The food’s solid, the vibe’s easy, and weekend mornings feel very PJ – aunties and uncles on their regular brunch, kids still in sports mode, parents in full catch-up mode.

It’s not loud, not try-hard. Just nice lah – like a proper Saturday should feel.

Oh My Belly

Oh My Belly

Oh My Belly is spacious, comfortable, and great when you’re coming with a group – no need to mengimpit. The real plot twist, though, is the drinks: fizzy lo han guo, camellia oolong with coffee, and other combos that make you go, “huh?”

Then you take a sip, and you realise… okay, it works.

Just note: it’s up a flight of stairs, so it’s not the easiest if you’ve got mobility concerns.

FEEKA at Happy Mansion

If you’re looking for a place with comforting, homey vibes, FEEKA is the place for you. Its decor kind of feels like someone's well-decorated living room, but with better coffee. Come in, grab a seat and you’ll find yourself in santai-mode before you know it.

Our recommendation? Try the baked prawn pasta.

Perfect for those "we really need to catch up properly" sessions where you end up talking for three hours and ordering another round of drinks just to justify staying longer.

Contour PJ

This Old Town PJ spot is one of the best places for pastries. People literally just come to tapao their matcha strawberry with a mini croissant combo. The ham and cheese Danish is another favourite – flaky, savoury, oh-so-buttery.

This isn’t a “big meal” café. It’s a pastry-and-coffee kind of place, and honestly, that’s the best part.

ONO

Tucked into a neighbourhood near SS2, ONO is a hugely popular place, and it’s easy to see why.

Most would recommend the matcha, but the real ones know how great the food is, too. If you’ve ever tried their tiramisu matcha, you’ll understand why it’s worth the parking drama. The interior's clean, minimal, and gives off that sleek modern café vibe.

Rays B.Land

RAYs B.LAND

Located right next to White Pickleball, RAYs is a great place for post-game brunch. The pulled beef sandwich is legit good – tender, flavourful, and seriously sedap. If you’re not in a sandwich mood, the beef ragu pasta and French toast are safe bets too.

It’s the perfect post-pickleball hangout spot.

Flour, Fire & Stone

Here’s another one for you, pickleball gang. Flour, Fire & Stone is actually next to Pickle Park, and comes with ample seating and easy parking. It’s also by the same team behind Kenny Hills, so you know the menu’s solid.

Imagine sitting here, chilling with your friends after a game – syok wei.

Flour, Fire

And that's our café round-up. PJ cafés aren't just about the food or the coffee. They're about having a spot that works, whether it's a place your group chat agrees on, somewhere your parents actually enjoy, or just a place that lets you chill and do your thing.

So if you're free this weekend, you know what to do. Pick one, try it out. Don't say we bojio.
